The Happiest Baby on the Block

 

The Happiest Baby on the Block class teaches new parents and caregivers a step-by-step approach to help infants sleep longer and soothe even the fussiest baby in minutes. Happiest Baby educators will provide hands on training on topics such as: The Missing 4th Trimester: (it may sound odd, but many babies cry because, in an important way, they are born 3 months too soon); The Calming Reflex: the virtual off-switch to crying that all babies are born with; The 5 S's: the 5 simple techniques that activate the calming reflex.  We will provide hands on training to teach any parent, grandparent, babysitter or caregiver how to help their baby be The Happiest Baby on the Block!  Taught by a certified The Happiest Baby on the Block educator.
 

1 session, 2 hours, $40.00, includes parent kit - Happiest Baby on the Block DVD and "Super Soother" white noise CD.

Life With Baby – Finding Your New Normal

 

OK, so you’re ready for the birth, but what about bringing baby home?  This ‘class’ is a unique blend of activities designed to prepare you for parenthood.  After a short introduction you will be set loose to visit various ‘stations’ each focusing on a different parenting skill, choice or challenge.  Learn about time management, baby wearing (baby wearing—what’s that?), coping with a fussy infant, finding good support, rekindling your couple relationship, what do you really need baby equipment-wise, and more.  Life with a new baby can either be diapers and delirium or dimples and delightful.   Why not make a plan?

Bringing Baby Home to Your Pets

 

Do you know the best way to introduce your pets to your new baby?  What do you need to know about animal behavior with infants?  This fun class will give you great pointers for successfully blending your family!  Bring a picture of your pets.

 

1 session, 2 hours, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$25.00 per family.
